How to reissue a gift card

Scenario: Client wants to either find out their gift card balance. You try to swipe the card but it doesn't read on the mag strip reader.

Let's check the gift card balance in the back end.

__ HOW TO CHECK GIFT CARD BALANCE IN THE BACK END MANUALLY __

STEP 1: Click on the 3 vertical dots

STEP 2: Click on Marketing

STEP 3: Enter in password

STEP 4: Click Gift Card

STEP 5: Enter in gift card number in search bar

STEP 6: Click on Search icon

**Question: ** Does the gift card have a balance?

No? Tell the client. Keep the card. If customer wants to add more funds to the gift card, let them know you will be selling them a new gift card.

Yes? Let the client know you will issuing them a new gift card with the remaining balance. Notate the gift card balance. Go to section below: "How to sell gift card in the back end"

STEP 1: In Gift Card section click on Activate Gift Card

STEP 2: Enter in amount

STEP 3: Select Activation Reason

STEP 4: Click Active
